This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity and quality of sterile drug products by following precise procedures, applying proper gowning and aseptic techniques, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities + Execute aseptic and cleanroom manufacturing operations in accordance with cGMP, regulatory standards, and internal SOPs. + Follow detailed batch records, manufacturing instructions, and standard operating procedures with a high level of accuracy. + Apply proper aseptic techniques and cleanroom behaviors to maintain sterility and prevent contamination throughout all operations. + Adhere to contamination control practices, including proper material handling and equipment usage within the cleanroom. + Wear and maintain full aseptic gowning, including hoods, coveralls, gloves, booties, and masks, for extended periods while performing production activities. + Document all manufacturing activities accurately, clearly, and in a timely manner in compliance with cGMP documentation standards. + Communicate effectively with team members and support functions to ensure smooth execution of production schedules. + Work both independently and collaboratively to meet production goals and timelines. + Support flexible production schedules by working varying shifts and weekends as required. Essential Skills + Strong understanding of aseptic technique, cleanroom behavior, and contamination control principles. + Ability to read, interpret, and precisely follow SOPs, batch records, and manufacturing instructions. + Comfort working in a cleanroom environment while wearing full aseptic gowning for extended periods. + High attention to detail with strong documentation skills aligned with cGMP expectations. + Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordination within a collaborative team environment. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining compliance and quality standards. + Willingness and ability to work flexible shifts and weekends based on production needs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School diploma or GED required. + Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field preferred. + Experience in an aseptic or sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred. + Experience working in cGMP-regulated environments highly desirable. Work Environment This role is based in a controlled cleanroom environment dedicated to sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing. The position requires wearing full aseptic gowning, including hoods, coveralls, gloves, booties, and masks, for extended periods while performing production activities. Work is performed under cGMP and regulatory guidelines, with a strong focus on contamination control, documentation accuracy, and adherence to standard operating procedures. The schedule may include flexible hours and weekend work to support production demands, and the role involves close collaboration with a team-oriented manufacturing staff. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Sacramento, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
