Job Summary This position is responsible for the assembly and development of specialty custom air strut and suspension components, mechanical troubleshooting, CNC machine operation, prototype development, and maintaining accurate inventory of materials and parts. What you'll do: Specialty Manufacturing & Assembly Assemble specialty custom air struts, suspension components, and related mechanical assemblies. Perform precision mechanical assembly, fitting, adjustment, and testing. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, measurements, specifications, and work instructions. R D / Product Development Assist with the design, development, testing, and improvement of new and existing products. Build prototypes and experimental assemblies for new product development. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and develop practical solutions. Modify existing components and assemblies to improve performance, reliability, fit, or manufacturability. Document prototype changes, measurements, test results, and production improvements. CNC Operation & Fabrication Operate CNC machinery to produce custom components and production parts. Set up machines, load materials, make basic tooling or program adjustments, and monitor machining operations. Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools. Materials & Inventory Control Receive, identify, organize, and properly store raw materials, components, hardware, and finished parts. Maintain accurate inventory counts and inventory records. Monitor material usage and identify parts or materials that need to be reordered. Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory checks. Maintain organized storage locations and proper labeling of parts and materials. What you'll bring: Mechanical aptitude with strong hands-on problem-solving skills. Previous experience in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, fabrication, CNC machining, automotive, suspension, or a related field. Ability to read mechanical drawings and accurately use precision measuring tools. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently. Good organizational and inventory-management skills.
