Full Job Description Standards Job Summary:

The Draw Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating tube drawing equipment to produce tubing that meets customer specifications and established quality standards. This position prepares materials and equipment for production, operates the draw machine, monitors the drawing process, performs quality checks, completes required documentation, and maintains a clean and organized work area. The Draw Operator is expected to follow standard work instructions, production priorities, safety requirements, and quality procedures while maintaining consistent productivity and product quality. All tasks are to be performed in accordance with the Accu-Tube Quality Management System.

Essential Job Functions:

Operate draw equipment safely and efficiently while meeting established production and quality standards. Review work orders and production requirements to ensure the correct materials and specifications are being followed. Monitor equipment and product throughout production and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity. Perform required quality inspections and measurements to ensure tubing meets established specifications. Identify and communicate quality issues, equipment problems, material concerns, or production delays to the appropriate supervisor/team lead. Complete production records, quality documentation, tags, and other required paperwork accurately and timely. Properly identify, handle, and stage finished, in-process, and nonconforming material. Maintain and care for assigned equipment, tooling, and work area. Perform routine operator maintenance and report equipment issues requiring additional maintenance or repair. Follow established standard work, safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments to support production and material flow. Meet established attendance, productivity, quality, and behavioral expectations. Participate in training and demonstrate proficiency in required job responsibilities. Support continuous improvement efforts and provide feedback regarding safety, quality, productivity, and process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to speak and understand basic English language. Must be flexible with work schedule. Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial equipment. Ability to read and understand work orders, specifications, and basic measurements. Ability to use basic measuring and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to identify and communicate problems or concerns appropriately. Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule Physical Requirements Standards Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Expectation of standing for up to 12 hours a day Necessary to remain alert and focused at all times operating machinery for safety of self and others Visual Abilities Average visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery, including computer Hearing Able to hear average or normal conversation Moderate-loud noise level Perceptive of abnormal machinery sounds Physical Strength Exert up to 50 pounds of lifting combination of metal and wood materials Perform greater weightlifting with a partner Team lifting of long metal tubing bundles per quality guidelines

Pay:

$23.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
