Manufacturing Technician Tech II

Aerospace Manufacturing Technician fabricates, assembles, validates, and supports critical flight hardware and ground support equipment in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Job Requirements High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Advanced training preferred Minimum 2+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment in a similar role Mechanical aptitude Fabrication skills General shop experience Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and late days based on shipping needs Ability to stand, walk, handle tools, and reach with hands and arms Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Close vision, distance vision, and color vision U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person as defined by ITAR regulations Preferred Skills Experience fabricating or validating flight hardware Experience with mechanical assembly and electrical assembly Experience working from flight drawings, procedures, and quality standards Experience supporting prototype hardware manufacturing Experience supporting test infrastructure development Experience documenting assembly and test procedures Experience identifying non-conformances in an aerospace manufacturing setting Job Responsibilities Fabricate and validate critical flight hardware Perform mechanical assembly and electrical assembly Build and support flight ground support equipment Follow flight drawings, procedures, quality standards, and internal training requirements Assist engineers with flight and prototype hardware manufacturing Support test infrastructure development Document assembly procedures, test procedures, and assigned manufacturing tasks Identify and communicate non-conformances to engineering and quality assurance Coordinate with facilities and maintenance to ensure production equipment is maintained and repaired on schedule Work with manufacturing engineering to optimize manufacturing orders Ensure process instructions are understood and followed

Pay:
