IMPORTANT

This Is an Experienced Heavy-Line Position Professional heavy-line experience is required. You must have real, hands-on professional experience removing and installing transmissions, engines, transfer cases, differentials, clutches, or similar heavy-line components. Quick-lube, tire-only, maintenance-only, and entry-level automotive experience by itself does not qualify for this position. Previous transmission-shop experience is preferred, but an experienced heavy-line technician from a general automotive shop may also be a strong fit. Doing your part well makes the entire team better. What You'll Be Doing Our R&R technicians do more than remove and install transmissions.

You will:

Remove and install automatic and manual transmissions Perform heavy-line removal and installation Work with transfer cases, differentials, clutches, driveline assemblies, and related components Perform our TrueTest diagnostic process Road-test vehicles and evaluate customer concerns Use scan tools to check vehicle systems and trouble codes Perform lift and fluid inspections Diagnose transmission, drivetrain, and related vehicle concerns Inspect vehicles during disassembly and communicate additional problems Work closely with our transmission builders and facility manager Complete repairs accurately and efficiently Take responsibility for quality and help prevent leaks, damaged components, missing hardware, and comebacks We care about production, but production does not mean cutting corners.
