The Role As our Canning Line Operator, you will be the heartbeat of our packaging process. You will ensure our products get safely, accurately, and efficiently from our tanks into the cans, ready for our customers to enjoy. This role starts at 20 to 30 hours per week, but as we continue to grow, there is genuine potential for this position to expand into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities Operate & Monitor:
Run the canning line machinery efficiently, keeping a close eye out for jams, misfeeds, or mechanical hiccups.
Material Handling:
Load empty cans, lids, labels, and cardboard trays to keep the line moving without interruption.
Quality Control:
Perform routine checks on fill levels, seam integrity, and label placement to ensure every can meets our high standards.
Cleanliness & Sanitation:
Perform daily cleaning and sanitization procedures on the equipment and keep the packaging floor spotless.
Teamwork:
Communicate effectively with the production team to coordinate canning runs and assist with end-of-day breakdowns.
What We're Looking For Experience:
Previous experience in brewing, distilling, packaging, or manufacturing is a huge plus, but we are absolutely willing to train a motivated candidate.
Mechanical Aptitude:
You don't need to be an engineer, but basic troubleshooting skills and comfort working around machinery are essential. Attention to
Detail:
You care about quality and don't let mistakes slip through the cracks.
Physical Ability:
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, twist, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Age Requirement:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
