Production Technician - Cannabis Manufacturing Fresh Delaware 1500 First State Blvd, Wilmington, DE 19804 About the Role Fresh Delaware is seeking a Production Technician to join our growing cannabis team. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is essential to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and consistency. You'll be hands-on in every stage of production—from trimming and weighing to packaging and labeling—helping deliver safe, reliable products to our customers. Key Responsibilities Trim and shuck cannabis plants by hand or with shears, following company standards Operate production equipment including trimming, packaging, and joint-packing machines (training provided) Accurately weigh and record product in grams to ensure compliance with company and state requirements Label and package finished products according to standard operating procedures Maintain cleanliness of production areas and equipment to meet sanitation guidelines Adhere to compliance and safety protocols in line with state/local regulations and company policies Perform quality checks on all products and report findings to the Production Manager Meet productivity benchmarks on a daily and weekly basis Assist with other duties as assigned by management Qualifications 21 years of age or older (legal requirement) High school diploma preferred Cannabis handling/trimming experience a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for repetitive tasks Ability to sit/stand for long periods and climb ladders during shifts Background check clearance as required by law Comfort working in fast-paced environments with deadlines Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage: $15.00 - $15.53 (FLSA Non-Exempt) Full-time position covered under a collective bargaining agreement with UFCW Local 27
