Job Description

SMT manufacturing role focused on equipment setup, programming, operation, inspection, troubleshooting, and PCB production support in an electronics environment. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED 3+ years of SMT experience in electronics manufacturing Experience setting up, programming, and operating SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens Ability to inspect PCBs using visual and optical inspection methods Ability to troubleshoot SMT equipment and process issues Experience performing preventive maintenance on SMT machinery Ability to complete rework, repairs, and production documentation Ability to verify components and support kitting and BOM accuracy Ability to read schematics, assembly prints, and technical documents Ability to work in ESD-controlled manufacturing environments Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Skills
IPC-A-610
certification Experience supporting PCB assembly quality and process efficiency Experience with SMT process monitoring and downtime reduction Experience with optical inspection methods in electronics manufacturing Experience supporting materials verification and production readiness Job Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency Inspect PCBs using visual and optical inspection methods Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime Perform preventive maintenance on SMT machinery Complete rework, repairs, and production documentation as needed Verify components and support kitting and BOM accuracy
