Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a Contract job with a client in Malabar, FL . The ideal candidate will have experience supporting manufacturing operations, production processes, assembly activities, and quality-focused environments, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Rate Range:
$21/hour to $22/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Perform masking and demasking operations on parts, assemblies, and components in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures, engineering requirements, and quality standards. Prepare surfaces and materials for masking applications while ensuring proper adherence to process specifications and workmanship requirements. Apply and remove masking materials throughout manufacturing and finishing processes to protect designated surfaces and maintain product integrity. Inspect components before, during, and after processing to verify compliance with workmanship standards, engineering specifications, and quality requirements. Read and follow manufacturing travelers, work instructions, process documentation, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate execution of assigned tasks.
Desired Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience working in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or related industrial environments is preferred. Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, verbal directions, process documentation, and manufacturing procedures accurately. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work while maintaining consistency and accuracy in repetitive tasks. Basic knowledge of hand tools, measuring devices, production equipment, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience performing masking, demasking, assembly, finishing, coating preparation, or other related manufacturing processes. Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards, inspection procedures, process compliance requirements, and production documentation practices. Experience identifying product, material, equipment, or process discrepancies and communicating issues effectively to the appropriate personnel. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team-based manufacturing environment while maintaining productivity and quality expectations. Experience supporting aerospace, defense, electronics, industrial manufacturing, or other highly regulated production environments is considered a plus.
