Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a Contract job with a client in Malabar, FL . The ideal candidate will have experience supporting manufacturing operations, assembly processes, masking and demasking activities, and production environments , along with a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Rate Range:

$21/hour to $22/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Manufacturing Technician Job Responsibilities Include:

Perform masking and demasking operations on parts, assemblies, and components in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures, engineering requirements, and quality standards. Prepare surfaces and materials for masking applications while ensuring proper adherence to process specifications and workmanship requirements. Apply and remove masking materials from products during various stages of manufacturing and finishing operations while protecting critical surfaces from damage. Inspect parts before, during, and after processing to verify compliance with quality standards, product specifications, and workmanship expectations. Read and follow manufacturing travelers, work instructions, engineering drawings, process documentation, and production schedules to ensure accurate execution of assigned tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience working in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or related industrial environments is preferred. Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, process documentation, and verbal directions with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. Basic knowledge of manufacturing tools, hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment used in assembly or processing operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience performing masking, demasking, assembly, finishing, coating preparation, or related manufacturing processes. Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards, inspection procedures, process compliance requirements, and production documentation practices. Experience identifying product, material, equipment, or process issues and communicating findings effectively to supervisors and team members. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within team-based manufacturing environments while maintaining productivity and quality expectations.
