Usv manufacturing technician
Inventory, validate, install and test all components required for assembly and delivery of USV?sTest and confirm installed components are built to standards and operating within limits.
Provide daily progress updates to Production and Project Managers.
Collaboratively work with Systems, Engineering and Production teams to identify issues and assist with product assembly and development.
Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner. experience 4-7 years skills
Relevant tech school, degree, or minimum of 3 years experience in related manufacturing or technical product assembly.
Ability to review and interpret technical documentation such as maintenance manuals, checklists, and blueprints and wiring schematics.
Basic knowledge of electronics and mechanical hardware.
Use and maintenance of hand, power and air tools.
Basic boat familiarity.
Candidate must be familiar with the Microsoft office suite.
Candidate must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Candidate must be able to function individually for long periods of time as well as be an integral member of a team supporting a complex and dynamic organization. Comfortable documenting issues and escalation of any items that create a work stoppage.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP and clean background is required.
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
Ability to work with integrated teams comprised of military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and drug screen.
This is a position involving physical labor and candidate must be physically fit, and able to lift more than 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to wear required safety equipment.
