Job Description

Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Technician with electro-mechanical assembly and test skills to join our Operations team. Experience in PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) inspection, testing, rework/repair are highly desired. Responsibilities Responsible for subassembly and final assembly of products. Performs visual inspection, functional testing & programming, burn-in testing, and thermal testing of all assembled products. Documents and records all inspection and test results. Performs test, debug and rework/repair of PCBAs for Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through Hole Technology (THT) in support of Production, Engineering prototypes and Customer owned products. Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in related electronics manufacturing: 3+ years
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in field of electronics
  • Knowledge and practical experience using IPC-A-610 and
J-STD-001
for PCBAs
  • PCBA component soldering ability, skill and practical experience (SMT/THT)
  • Basic computer application skills (MS Office)
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, test procedures, schematics and mechanical/assembly drawings
  • PCBA Bench Testing experience (setup, debug, test)
  • Experience using torque tools and variety of test instruments including multimeters, gauges, and oscilloscope
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Electronics (ASEET) or relevant field

Certified or Trained
  • Experience using Environmental Test Equipment for PCBAs or electronic assemblies
