Assembly Line Location:
Cold Storage Facility (41°F and below)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and energetic Food Runner to join our production team in a cold storage facility. As a Food Runner on the assembly line, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of food products across different workstations. This position requires working in a cold environment (41°F and below), where attention to detail, safety, and time management are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Transport Materials:
Efficiently run food products, ingredients, and packaging materials to and from designated stations on the assembly line.
Assist Assembly Line Workers:
Support workers on the line by restocking items, ensuring that all materials are ready for production, and promptly addressing any shortages.
Maintain Inventory Levels:
Regularly monitor inventory levels at each workstation and communicate with the inventory team to ensure adequate supplies.
Clean and Organize Work Areas:
Keep the assembly line clean, organized, and free of obstructions to maintain an efficient workflow.
Follow Safety and Sanitation Guidelines:
Adhere to company safety protocols, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards, especially in a cold environment. Collaborate with

Work closely with assembly line workers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure production targets are met.
Work Conditions:
Cold Environment:
You will be working in a cold storage environment with temperatures consistently at or below 41°F. Proper cold-weather gear and PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided.
Fast-Paced Setting:
The work environment is dynamic, and you will need to move quickly and efficiently to support the assembly line.
Physical Demands:
This role requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, and lifting of materials (up to 50 lbs).
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a food production or warehouse environment is preferred but not required. Ability to work in cold conditions for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and hygiene protocols. Ability to lift and transport heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
