Job Description

The Fabrication Technician is responsible for producing high-quality components for glass shower enclosures by cutting, assembling, and preparing aluminum materials and hardware to exact specifications.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately build quality shower doors. Cut aluminum extrusions to precise measurements, ensuring accurate angles and proper orientation. Assemble hardware kits and fabricated components according to work orders. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Package and label completed products for shipment. Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area before, during, and after each shift. Monitor material usage and assist with inventory tracking. Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently; report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using fabrication tools such as chop saws and drill presses or the willingness to learn. Basic math and measurement skills, including the ability to read a tape measure accurately. Ability to read and follow instructions, labels, and production specifications. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Indoor manufacturing setting with occasional exposure to temperature changes. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically active work throughout the shift. Capable of performing activities such as bending, kneeling, reaching, standing, pushing, and lifting for 3-4 hours without sitting. Frequent interaction with machinery, moving parts, and sharp materials. Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
