The science behind every Chandler bat results in a distinct, booming crack that has changed the sound of baseball forever.
Job Title:
Lathe Operator & Utility Technician We are currently looking for up a highly motivated full-time team members who will can be trained quickly to be responsible for hand sanding (both rough and fine) and shaping of our wood baseball bats in preparation for paint and finishing. Cross-training opportunities are available based on any previous experience working with your hands or woodworking. Paid on the job training is provided. No previous experience preferred. Ideal candidates possess:
Ability to learn/perform both rough and fine sanding per our processes Comfort with regular exposure to work near moving mechanical parts Strong work ethic, self-motivation and team communication skills Ability to read and understand instructions and work orders Desire to continually acquire and develops new skill sets Ability to work independently, as well as take direction Manual dexterity for repetitive, hands-on tasks Ability to physically stand for an 8-hour shift Daytime hours are flexible depending on your scheduling needs. Cross-training opportunities as well as salary increases are available based on experience and demonstration of skillset over time in paint and finish, as well as other areas of production.
Benefits:
Paid holidays and annual production holiday shut down time (12 total work days).
