Join the Valpak Clipp Manufacturing Center as a Print Production Technician - Collation , where you'll help operate automated production equipment that assembles and prepares our printed advertising products for mailing to millions of households across the country. This is a hands-on manufacturing position where you'll monitor production equipment, inspect product quality, respond to machine alerts, perform routine adjustments, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. Throughout the day, you'll monitor production lines, respond to equipment alerts, perform routine machine resets and adjustments, inspect finished products for quality, and help keep production moving efficiently. Every day is active, hands-on, and focused on producing a high-quality product that reaches millions of homes. What You'll Do Operate and monitor automated collation and print production equipment. Monitor production lines to ensure continuous, efficient operation. Respond to equipment alarms and perform routine machine resets and adjustments. Troubleshoot minor mechanical and process issues while escalating more complex concerns when appropriate. Perform basic preventative maintenance to help minimize equipment downtime. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards. Communicate equipment, quality, or production concerns to team leaders and Senior Process Technicians. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Cross-train on additional equipment throughout the production area. Participate in our paid VMC Progression Program to develop new technical skills and advance your career. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Enjoys working with machinery and automated equipment. Has strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Takes pride in producing quality work. Is dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn. Works well independently and as part of a team. Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualifications One to two years of manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, machine operation, or other industrial experience is preferred. Previous experience with automated production equipment or commercial printing is a plus, but not required. Ability to obtain and safely operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment. Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications. Ability to distinguish a full range of colors for quality inspection. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (SAP experience is a plus). Basic to intermediate math skills. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements & Work Environment This is an active manufacturing position in a clean, climate-controlled production facility.
Candidates must be able to:
Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Climb ladders and safely work at varying heights. Work around automated industrial equipment and moving machinery. Work in a manufacturing environment where hearing protection is required. Work overtime or weekends as production needs require.
