This role requires precise measurements, careful handling of production chemicals, and strong attention to quality. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate shrink seaming equipment efficiently to produce products that meet customer specifications Add required production chemicals safely during the seaming process Measure labels accurately to within 1mm and monitor work order requirements Perform equipment changeovers, inspections, and routine cleaning to help reduce downtime Complete required quality documentation and follow established safety and quality procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required At least 6 months to 1 year of Seaming Inspector experience Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Ability to communicate and work effectively with coworkers Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly , with or without assistance Ability to safely work around moving machinery and powered industrial equipment Ability to follow PPE, chemical handling, Safety Data Sheet, and workplace safety requirements Must be comfortable working in a production environment that may include loud noise, airborne particles, solvents, flashing inspection lights, and varying temperatures
