Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our night shift team in a fast-paced, pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality pharmaceutical products while adhering to strict regulatory standards. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, handle industrial chemicals safely, and follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to our commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Duties Operate manufacturing equipment and material handling systems in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Handle industrial chemicals and pharmaceutical agents safely, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and chemical-resistant gloves. Conduct routine inspections of machinery, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Follow strict GMP and CGMP standards for pharmaceutical manufacturing, including documentation, batch records, and compliance audits. Manage materials handling using forklifts and other material handling equipment to facilitate production flow within warehouse and production areas. Adhere to safety protocols related to chemical agent handling, respiratory protection, and PPE usage at all times. Assist in packaging processes, laboratory testing, and quality control activities as needed to meet production schedules. Qualifications Prior experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial chemical handling is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction. Knowledge of regulatory/legal compliance standards specific to pharmaceutical production, including GMP and CGMP requirements. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and recordkeeping tasks. Valid forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is desirable. Experience working in a GMP-compliant environment or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility is a plus. Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining high safety standards.
