Job Description

Description:
$20.00 to $25.00 per hour, plus $2.00 per hour on 2nd shift. Set schedule, no weekends, paid time off and paid holidays. New Atlanta facility, ground floor team. Start early October 2026. Brynhild Industries builds the Svallin XX, a rapidly deployable stainless steel shelter system for government and commercial customers. We are opening a new production facility in Atlanta with new TRUMPF laser cutting, press brake, and robotic laser welding equipment, and our third and fourth welding cells are already on order. You will be assembling the finished shelters from the parts those machines make. We pay assembly techs several dollars above the Atlanta norm because we expect craftsman level care, self direction, and honest quality checks rather than line worker output. You manage your own task list, you own your station, and you stop and flag anything that does not conform. What you will do Assemble shelter structures and subassemblies to drawings and work instructions. Apply structural adhesives and sealants to spec. Install hardware, gaskets, and components. Perform and record quality checks at each stage. Help with material handling, crating, and shipping prep. Suggest and help build improvements to the assembly process as we ramp. What we are looking for Experience in manufacturing assembly, carpentry, RV or trailer building, millwork, or a similar hands on trade. Comfortable with power tools and assembly drawings. Adhesive or sealant experience is a plus. Able to lift 50 lbs and work standing. Dependable, punctual, and honest about quality, including your own. Pay and how it grows Starting rate is above roughly three quarters of Atlanta assembly jobs, and it is not where you stay. Formal review at 90 days with a wage adjustment on the table. Each additional station you certify on (laser, press brake, weld cell) adds $1.00 per hour, and cross training is paid and scheduled, including into machine operation for those who want it. Working lead positions carry a further premium and are filled from within first. Schedule and terms 1st shift 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, 2nd shift 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. No rotating shifts, no weekends. Overtime is available during our ramp, always at time and a half, and never mandatory without notice. Holiday coverage, if we ever need it, is optional and paid at double time. We do not offer health benefits yet; we commit to a health plan within the first six months of production and pay above market in the meantime.
Referral bonus:
bring someone good with you and earn $1,000 when they complete 90 days. They must name you on their application. To apply, please submit a resume or a summary of your relevant work experience, and the shift you prefer. Brynhild Industries LLC is an equal opportunity employer. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Pay:
