Job Description
Production Line Operator Schedule:
M-F 8:00 AM until 4:00PM Pay Rate:
$18 per hour A typical day in this role includes: Operating an automated shrink sleeve production line to apply shrink sleeves to cans. Cans move through an automatic depalletizer, conveyor, shrink sleeve applicator, heat tunnel, and re-palletizer. Handling pallets, applying top-frames, pallet bands, and plastic wrap as needed. Performing repetitive daily functions in production. Troubleshooting and supporting shrink sleeve operations. Engaging in a physically demanding yet rewarding job. Key Responsibilities Meet daily production targets for sleeved can pallets. Prepare blank aluminum cans for shrink sleeve application by removing packaging and top-frames. Operate de-palletizing, shrink sleeving, and re-palletizing equipment. Keep equipment supplied with cans, clear jams, monitor the re-palletizer, and remove completed pallets. Conduct quality control checks on finished products. Prepare finished goods for shipment. Perform light warehouse duties, such as inventory organization, receiving deliveries, and equipment maintenance. Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on the shrink sleeving machine as needed. Requirements Legally authorized to work in the United States. Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse, brewery, or packaging environment. Experience with SKA Depalletizer equipment or can sleeving machinery is preferred. Comfortable working with and troubleshooting mechanical equipment in varying conditions. Strong work ethic with a willingness to work long or irregular hours when needed. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a results-driven mindset. Physically able to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects. Forklift experience and certification (or willingness to obtain).Compensation / Pay
