Job Summary:

A local Dyersville employer is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Paint Line Operator to join our production team on 1st shift. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring the paint line to ensure parts are properly coated and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the paint line to ensure consistent coating and proper coverage on parts
• Load and unload parts onto the paint line according to production schedules
• Inspect finished parts for quality, defects, and proper paint application
• Maintain proper paint levels and assist with mixing or preparing coatings as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of paint line equipment
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production needs or issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or paint line experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
