Job Summary We are looking for a dependable Utility Worker to join our manufacturing team. This position supports production by performing a variety of shop duties including welding, fabrication, machine operation, assembly, material handling, and general production support. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn multiple manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Read blueprints, work orders, and production drawings. Operate manufacturing equipment including welders, grinders, saws, presses, drills, and other shop equipment. Perform fabrication, welding, assembly, grinding, finishing, and material preparation. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Move materials using carts, forklifts, or overhead cranes (when trained). Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Work with team members to meet daily production goals. Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or machine operation experience preferred but not required. Ability to read measuring devices and blueprints. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and attention to detail. Forklift, crane, welding, or CNC experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to work around machinery, heat, noise, and dust while wearing required PPE.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
