Job Description Job Description Manufacturing Technician - Weld Prep & Assembly (Entry Level) Critical Systems Inc. | Boise, ID | $23/hr | Full-Time What You'll Do You'll be a key part of our production floor — preparing materials, assembling components, and supporting our welding operations to deliver precision-built products. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail directly impacts quality. Measure, cut, and prep materials for welding per specifications Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery Set up welding equipment and stage materials to support welders Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep your work area clean and safe Document any deviations from standard processes Contribute ideas for continuous process improvement What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED Any hands-on experience — welding, assembly, fabrication, construction, or mechanical work all count Comfortable with hand tools and power tools Able to read basic technical drawings (or eager to learn) Detail-oriented, reliable, and a team player Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Bonus (not required): Technical certification in welding or manufacturing Experience with orbital welding equipment Why Critical Systems Inc.?
