This role ensures efficient production while meeting quality standards, safety requirements, and production targets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, and reflow ovens
  • Set up machines for production runs, including loading feeders, components, and programs
  • Perform first article inspections and verify correct component placement
  • Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed
  • Inspect boards for defects such as misalignment, solder issues, or missing components
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of SMT equipment
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues and escalate when necessary
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce defects Qualifications
  • Ability to read work instructions, diagrams, and basic schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • Basic computer skills for machine interface and documentation
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent use of hands and fine motor skills for handling small components
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 40 pounds as needed
