Job Description:
MicroLink Devices, a manufacturer of solar cells and transistors for wireless communications, is seeking to fill a 2nd shift Semiconductor Production Technician position to operate its state-of-the-art computerized production and quality control equipment in a clean room environment. This is an entry-level position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle semiconductor wafers and operate computerized production and quality control equipment. Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance of epitaxial growth reactors and all associated equipment. Responsible for product inspection, data entry, quality reporting. Responsible for labeling, packaging, and shipping finished goods. Must be available to work on second shift (1:30pm to 10pm) .
Skills and Qualifications:
Associate degree in a technical field is desired. Basic computer skills are required. Mechanical competence, good manual dexterity, required. Prior clean room experience desired. Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Flexibility and willingness to learn. Strong work ethic and good timekeeping. Candidate must possess the following attributes: Capable of working on multiple tasks and projects. Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated. Willing to work weekends if needed. Must be eligible to work in the US, no sponsorship provided for this position Job offer will be contingent upon completing a successful limited background investigation. Occasionally lift up to 40lbs.
