What You'll Do As a Production Technician I, you'll: Set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic mass finishing equipment, including electropolishing, sandblasting, tumbling, and degreasing equipment. Perform repetitive bench assembly and diagnostic tasks using hand tools, assembly jigs, and fixtures. Perform laser etching and identification on instruments, cassettes, handles, and machine parts. Perform heat-treating operations, including Rockwell hardness testing and documentation. Operate equipment in the Ultrasonic cell. Buff, polish, and grind workpieces to maintain required contours, edges, and dimensions. Operate assigned equipment according to work instructions and verify specifications. Maintain equipment, supplies, and production logs. Access blueprints and work instructions using a computer system as needed. Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. This Job Might Be a Great Fit If You Are eager to learn manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality standards. Have strong attention to detail and can visually identify product defects. Can follow established procedures and work effectively with minimal supervision. Are comfortable working in a repetitive production environment. Can maintain quality and productivity while performing detailed, hands-on work. Are available to work 2nd shift, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM . Have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) . Have previous manufacturing or production experience (a plus, but not required) .
