Role Summary:
The Turning Line Operator will be responsible for the efficient operation of various industrial machines, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Hours:
Monday- Friday 5:00am-3:30pm with occasional Saturday's.
Pay:
$22.25/ hour with quick opportunities for advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machinery according to specifications and production requirements. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance. Ensure the work area is clean and organized, adhering to 5S principles.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety in an industrial setting.
Technical Skills:
Previous experience as a machine operator is a plus but not required; training will be provided upon hiring.
Physical Demands:
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, crawl, kneel, and exert 20 to 50 pounds of force. Requires finger dexterity and reaching capabilities. Must wear safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and other personal protective equipment as required.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing schedules and demands. Good attendance is mandatory.
