Job Title:
Manufacturing Technician Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Technician, where you will play a critical role in our production process. You will be responsible for adhering to detailed manufacturing processes and testing to ensure high-quality product output. Responsibilities Monitor and operate production equipment, obtain necessary materials, and collect samples. Conduct in-process testing, analyze results, and document work. Batch, mix, and blend products per specifications for customer orders. Measure, weigh, and load raw materials into machines. Monitor mixtures for consistency and viscosity. Produce sample quantities of products that meet physical and sensory specifications. Assist in all aspects of manufacturing development batches. Follow manufacturing procedures to process raw materials, intermediate, and finished products. Maneuver drums and equipment and lift weights up to 50 lbs. Participate in inventory management and material handling. Prepare finished product shipments and manage incoming materials. Ensure proper storage of excess raw materials in assigned areas. Interact with product development, quality control, purchasing, and shipping departments. Understand and comply with current SOP, Safety, and GMP requirements. Arrange, clean, and maintain storage and work areas as per regulations. Provide support for manufacturing areas and assist in manufacturing support. Prepare internal lab samples and maintain inventory of retained samples. Essential Skills Chemical handling, mixing, and blending. GMP compliance and understanding. Compounding and packaging knowledge. 1-3 years of experience in a GMP environment. Chemical manufacturing experience. Experience with blending, mixing, and material handling. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma required. Work Environment This role is based in a new facility with a modern laboratory and production environment. We are building out our team for growth, offering opportunities to work with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. The work environment requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards, ensuring a clean and organized space. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
