West Side Transport is a medium-sized company with a small company feel. We appreciate the drivers, mechanics, and office staff who work so hard to make every day run as smooth as possible. The family atmosphere was established over 40 years ago by the Vogt family — and is still family-run to this day. The business began salvaging grain spills at train yards using just a couple of pickups and shovels. As the company grew, the Vogt family added semi-tractors and hopper trailers to accommodate customer needs. By the late 1980s, the West Side trucking operation had expanded into the truckload, dry van business. To this day you will still find the owner hauling freight to understand better what our drivers endure on the daily.
