Job Description

PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN COMPANY PURPOSE
To exceed expectations through quality service and innovation . We do this by evo lving our full service approach and creating tailored solutions for clients to bring their products and services to a diverse and growing marketplace through trade shows, events and corporate environments.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Production Technician of Evo Exhibits, this person will execute the pre-show staging and packing of projects as well as post-show return inspections as directed by the Production Manager and supported by the Lead Technician. This position will report directly to the Production Manager. In addition to being organized, proactive and a clear communicator, the following also apply:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
( Other duties may be assigned)
  • Attends daily department meetings to clarify project status, receive change orders and understand daily goals
  • Attends Pre-Staging meetings for assigned projects to understand the expectations and process of executing within the provided timeline
  • Completes the pre-show staging and packing of assigned projects to meet strict due dates, project specific expectations and checklists
  • Completes assigned daily department checkout tasks prior to leaving each day
  • Travel with Lead Technician to local show site to assist in the install and/or dismantle of exhibits if needed
  • Follows all safety initiatives and completes required department certification training for the operation of items such as, but not limited to: Forklifts, Miter Saws, Drill Presses, and other hand tools
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation Ability to kneel, bend, push, pull or climb to complete various tasks per project demand Ability to work with power tools and other equipment such as Miter Saw, Drill Press, etc. Ability to read and build exhibits using prints Ability to find and correct imperfections in prints while building
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ability to work in a team that is detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and customer-centric Experience working in Tradeshow/Event Design Actively learns and recommends new methods for increased efficiencies in role Windows/Microsoft Office Suite Valid Driver's License or permit
KEY COMPETENCIES
Demonstrates a positive attitude Exercises good judgment and practical reasoning Demonstrates appropriate conduct, especially in stressful situations
