Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing production processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring manufacturing efficiency. Your expertise will help streamline operations, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement innovative solutions that enhance product quality and operational performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced industrial environment where your technical skills and problem-solving abilities will make a tangible impact. Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely completion of manufacturing initiatives. Perform root cause analysis on production issues, equipment failures, and process deviations to identify underlying problems. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD models using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and CAD tools to support design modifications and troubleshooting. Program and troubleshoot CNC machines, robots, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial equipment to optimize manufacturing operations. Support process improvement projects utilizing lean manufacturing principles and data analysis skills to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Conduct equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on machinery such as injection molding machines, CNC tools, welding stations, and fabrication equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, maintenance, and quality assurance to implement process changes and ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
standards. Requirements Proven experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations, including assembly line experience and fabrication processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments such as GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo) for interpreting drawings and creating schematics. Knowledge of CNC programming (CAM programming), robot programming, electrical wiring, and PLC systems. Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes and tooling design is highly desirable. Ability to perform data analysis for process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and production issues efficiently. Strong communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Knowledge of
ISO 9001

Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
