Job Description
What You'll Do Join Active Radiator's Dayton team in a hands-on position working in two areas of our operation: aluminum manufacturing and copper & brass radiator repair. Aluminum Manufacturing Assemble and manufacture aluminum heat exchangers and related components Prepare, fit, and assemble aluminum components Use hand and power tools Accurately read a tape measure and calipers Assist with cutting, forming, fitting, and assembly Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy Copper & Brass Radiator Repair Assist with the repair and rebuilding of copper and brass radiators Perform soldering on copper and brass radiator components Disassemble radiators for inspection and repair Clean and prepare components for repair and reassembly Identify damaged and leaking areas Repair and reassemble radiator components Perform leak and pressure testing on completed repairs Assist with other radiator repair shop work as needed What We're Looking For Soldering experience strongly preferred Strong mechanical ability and hands-on repair skills Manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, or repair experience Ability to safely use hand and power tools Ability to accurately read a tape measure and calipers Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Willingness to work in both aluminum manufacturing and copper/brass radiator repair Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds A Plus Copper & brass soldering experience Radiator or heat exchanger repair experience Metal fabrication experience Welding or brazing experience Automotive or other hands-on mechanical repair experience Experience operating a press brake or shear
