Job Description

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
The Production Technician is responsible for safely manufacturing high-quality products that meet customer and company specifications while supporting efficient plant operations. This role operates production equipment, monitors product quality, completes production records, and works as part of a team to meet production goals. Production Technicians play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate production machinery and equipment following established work instructions and safety procedures. Monitor product quality through visual inspections and measurements to ensure specifications are met. Make minor equipment adjustments and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed. Complete production reports and accurately record required operational data. Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Follow all safety, environmental, and quality requirements, including company policies and procedures. Identify and report quality, safety, or production issues and assist in resolving them. Participate in continuous improvement activities, training programs, and team meetings. Support the training of new Production Technicians and assist with other tasks as assigned. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, value safety and quality, and thrive in a manufacturing team environment.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow established safety procedures. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, procedures, and production schedules. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate or learn to operate manufacturing equipment. Ability to lift, push, pull, or move materials as required and perform the physical demands of the job. Ability to work weekends, overtime, or holidays as needed. Strong attendance record and reliability. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
