The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Performs simple in-process inspections for quality.
Quality checks may include:
checking for presence and quality of printed lot number, expiration date and sequential number code on shipping cartons. Inspects product and/or components for conformity to quality standards. Calls out from production all, dirty, damaged or non-conforming filled goods and/or components.- Packages containers into cartons, tapes cartons and places on pallet
- Applies product information or date coding onto shipping cartons on the packaging line.
- Applies closures to filled containers on a packaging line, maintaining speed of application with the speed of the line.
- Maintain packing rate which keeps up with the speed of the line
- Performs cleaning of packaging equipment and facilities as directed by Line Leader.
- Performs cleaning of general workstation and complies with current good manufacturing practices.
Requirements:
Good Listening and comprehension skills. Must be able to lift 15-20lbs. May require bending, carrying, pushing, kneeling, standing for long periods of time. Prior manufacturing experience preferredEssential Knowledge/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent Must have reliable transportation .Benefits:
