Looking for Surface Mount Operator and Technician jobs in North Attleboro where craftsmanship and precision come together? This opportunity lets you assemble quality products using hand tools, mechanical skills, and detailed work instructions while helping keep production running efficiently. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experience who enjoy working with electronic assemblies, soldering, quality inspections, and precision manufacturing processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality PCB production while operating specialized SMT equipment. Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) experience required. Previous cable assembly experience preferred. Soldering experience required. Experience with 3D AOI inspection preferred. X-Ray inspection experience is a plus. Job Duties Perform screen printing of solder paste and verify proper paste application. Operate, monitor, set up, and tear down reflow ovens, stencil printers, and inspection equipment. Inspect electronic assemblies for component values, placement, and orientation accuracy. Conduct 3D AOI inspections and assist with quality verification processes. Follow production procedures and maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
