PM Project Summary:
This position involves supporting the production of complex electro-mechanical equipment. The role may include hands-on assembly of robotic components, warehouse material handling, or a combination of both, depending on business needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a focus on safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Responsibilities
- Perform electromechanical assembly by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Support assembly or material handling tasks, including moving, staging, or delivering materials and components to workstations.
Operate pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.
Assist with kitting, labeling, and organization of production parts.
Support inventory accuracy through proper documentation and scanning.
Perform other jobs related to assembly, repair, and rework as required.
Follow written work instructions and perform data entry into various production systems.
Conduct quality inspections and document actions by completing production and quality forms/entries.
Prioritize safety by following procedures and applying general safe practices in manufacturing.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication and collaborate well in a team environment.
Self-manage and possess the desire, drive, and energy needed to deliver and be part of daily execution.
- Education Qualification
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Required
- Ability to stand for 7+ hours per shift.
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Ability to read and follow English language instructions.
Proficiency in using a handheld scanner.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work with computers, manufacturing software, and perform data entry.
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
Ability to work effectively in a team/group setting.
Proficiency in using power tools and related equipment in a mechanical setting.
- Preferred
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
Prior experience with ERP, MES, or inventory management systems.
Ability to interpret manufacturing documentation (work instructions, part drawings, or traveler paperwork).
Familiarity with safe material handling practices (lifting, staging, cart usage, PPE).
