1st Shift Manufacturing Technician - Westborough, MA#26-09268 Westborough, MA Onsite Contract Starts 9/07/2026 Job Description New Journey, a Genesis10pany, is seeking a 1st Shift Manufacturing Technician for a 9-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion with our client in Westborough, MA.
Compensation:
$25.00/hr 1st
Shift:
M-F 6:15am-2:45pm
Job Requirements:
Perform troubleshooting activities for manufacturing products, using data and observations to assist in debug and root cause analysis. Conduct hardware inspections, identifying discrepancies and documenting findings to ensurepliance with quality standards. Assemble first article builds, test fixtures, racks, and associated wiring, ensuring accuracy and traceability. Provide feedback to mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering teams on tooling, consumables, debugging processes, and test setups. Maintain and update team Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documenting process improvements and changes. Maintain security and proper usage ofpany assets, equipment, and tools used in daily operations.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or a related environment. Ability to follow written work instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures. Basic mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to use basic hand tools and production equipment. Ability to inspect products and identify defects or discrepancies. Basicputer skills and ability to use scanners. Ability tomunicate effectively, (written and verbally) with peers, management, and cross functionally. Ability to stand 7+ hours/shift. Ability to lift 30 pounds and work safely in a structured. manufacturing environment. Read and follow English language instructions.
