What You'll Do:
Develop, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize
ZEISS CALYPSO
inspection routines and maintain controlled CMM program documentation and inspection records. Operate the CMM to perform first article, in-process, final, and other dimensional inspections while verifying measurement repeatability and program accuracy. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T to establish inspection requirements and appropriate measurement strategies. Perform hands-on dimensional and visual inspections using calibrated tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and specialized inspection equipment. Document inspection results and nonconformances, collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to resolve issues, and follow applicable quality, safety, and configuration-control procedures.
What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or GED 10+ years of experience in programming and operating a Zeiss CMM using ZEISS CALYPSO, including developing and validating CMM inspection programs. 10+ years of experience in MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word. 4+ years of experience in CMM software
Zeiss CALYPSO What Sets You Apart:
Associates Degree Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T. Proficiency with standard mechanical inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges. Experience programming a Zeiss Contura G2 or comparable Zeiss bridge CMM is strongly. Ability to interpret work instructions, specifications, and build documentation. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Keyence systems or other digital inspection tools. Experience working in aerospace, defense, or highly regulated manufacturing environments. Ability to coach operators on inspection best practices. Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Knowledge of Keyence machines Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Interpretation of drawings High attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills
