Jobs › Wilmington, MA › Oracle EPM Consolidation Consultant Robert Half Oracle EPM Consolidation Consultant Wilmington, MA Apply Description Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Consolidation Consultant to support the administration, optimization, troubleshooting, and automation of Oracle EPM, with a primary focus on Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS). The consultant will partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and external technology teams to stabilize the EPM environment, resolve consolidation issues, improve financial close processes, automate manual activities, and establish sustainable processes. This role will also document procedures and transfer knowledge to internal teams as the organization moves toward a more efficient future-state solution.

Individual Contributor Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, enhance, and support Oracle EPM/FCCS, including entities, accounts, ownership, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, consolidation rules, journals, forms, reports, dashboards, workflows, security, and task management. Troubleshoot production and consolidation issues, perform root-cause analysis, resolve data discrepancies, and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurring problems. Support the 10-day financial close, including data validation, consolidation processing, intercompany matching, journal postings, reporting tie-outs, and user support. Partner with Accounting, Finance, and IT to translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions. Develop and maintain business rules, calculations, forms, reports, Smart View templates, and validation processes. Support EPM/ERP data integrations, metadata, data loads, mappings, reconciliations, and issue resolution. Identify and implement opportunities to automate manual consolidation and close activities, working with IT and external partners as needed. Support requirements gathering, functional specifications, UAT, testing, releases, enhancements, and change management. Maintain SOPs, administrator guides, test scripts, training materials, and other system/process documentation. Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams to support long-term sustainability. Monitor Oracle Cloud EPM quarterly updates, assess impacts, and recommend improvements. Requirements Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting, administering, or enhancing Oracle EPM Cloud, preferably FCCS. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle FCCS configuration and administration. Strong understanding of financial consolidation, close processes, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, ownership structures, and financial reporting. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex functional/technical issues and identify root causes. Experience with FCCS business rules, calculations, forms, reports, Smart View, security, task management, metadata, and data management. Experience with data integrations between Oracle EPM, ERP, and related financial systems. Experience gathering requirements, developing functional specifications, testing, UAT, and supporting system enhancements. Strong experience with process improvement and automation; Groovy, EPM Automate, Data Management, or similar tools preferred. Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively with Finance, Accounting, IT, auditors, consultants, and leadership. Preferred Qualifications Experience with additional Oracle EPM modules such as ARCS, EDMCS, Planning, Narrative Reporting, or Profitability and Cost Management. Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle E-Business Suite, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), FDM/FDMEE, or other consolidation/reporting platforms. Knowledge of
GAAP, IFRS, SOX
controls, audit requirements, and public-company reporting. Oracle Cloud EPM certification or equivalent expertise. Prior consulting or finance transformation experience.
