Role Summary:
3LED Group is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to lead the final stages of our production cycle, specifically focusing on the packaging, palletizing, and logistics of our products across multiple lighting brands. This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for ensuring that finished fixtures are securely prepared and shipped to customers with the highest level of quality and accuracy. The position is ideal for individuals who take pride in the "final touch" of manufacturing—ensuring products are protected, documentation is accurate, and shipments are organized. This role offers broad exposure to our global supply chain and the opportunity to grow into logistics coordination, inventory management, or operations leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Final Packaging:
Securely pack LED lighting fixtures and components for Xico, FlexGrid, and Prolume, ensuring specialized protection for fragile architectural components.
Palletization:
Organize and stack finished goods onto pallets, utilizing proper banding, shrink-wrapping, and weight-distribution techniques to ensure safe transit.
Shipping & Receiving:
Execute daily outbound shipping tasks (creating labels, BOLs, and packing slips) and handle inbound deliveries, including unloading trucks and verifying receipts against POs.
Quality Control:
Perform a final visual inspection of products and labeling before they leave the facility to ensure 100% accuracy and brand consistency.
Inventory Coordination:
Maintain accurate records of finished goods inventory and shipping supplies; alert management of potential shortages.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, and basic fabrication tools used for custom crating or packaging adjustments.
Safety & Organization:
Maintain a clean, streamlined shipping/receiving dock and warehouse area to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or manufacturing packaging is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Ability to use shipping software (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and basic ERP/inventory systems.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Detail-Oriented:
A "zero-defect" mindset regarding labeling, part numbers, and shipping addresses.
Adaptability:
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-mix environment.
