Hanover, MD We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician 2 to support aerospace honeycomb panel fabrication and assembly . The technician will perform hands-on panel consolidation, adhesive bonding, vacuum bagging, and composite manufacturing operations while following engineering drawings and detailed work instructions. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and consolidate aerospace honeycomb panels and flight hardware . Prepare honeycomb cores, fill cells, and perform panel fit-up. Apply and compact film adhesives and mix/apply epoxy and silicone adhesives. Perform adhesive bonding, vacuum bagging, and panel compaction . Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and process specifications. Use hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble composite and metal components. Perform setup, rework, inspection, quality testing, and troubleshooting. Support Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Program teams with production and process improvements. Follow all aerospace quality, safety, and hazardous-material procedures. Requirements High School Diploma/GED. 2+ years of honeycomb panel fabrication or aerospace mechanical assembly experience. Experience reading engineering drawings and technical documentation . Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools. Experience with composites, metals, adhesives, or aerospace manufacturing. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work flexible schedules/overtime as needed. US Citizenship Required. Preferred Honeycomb panel fabrication experience. Epoxy/silicone adhesive mixing and bonding. Vacuum bagging and panel consolidation. Thin-gauge metal facesheet experience. Hazardous-material handling experience. Microsoft Word/Excel.
Pay:
