Duties Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on printing presses, copiers, and finishing equipment to maximize uptime and efficiency Troubleshoot hardware issues related to electro-mechanical components, computer hardware, and software systems involved in printing operations Diagnose equipment malfunctions using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes quickly Conduct field service repairs on-site at customer locations or within the facility, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules Utilize hand tools and specialized repair equipment to perform mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and component replacements Support technical troubleshooting for office printing devices, including printers and copiers, ensuring optimal performance Maintain detailed service records, repair logs, and maintenance schedules to track equipment history and facilitate future diagnostics Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical repair and equipment troubleshooting Proficiency in computer networking, hardware diagnostics, and IT support related to office equipment Hands-on experience with field service equipment repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical components Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams for complex machinery Excellent customer service skills with a focus on technical customer support for office equipment Experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) processes within manufacturing or printing environments Familiarity with electrical systems, electrical troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols involving electrical components Knowledge of printer and copier repair techniques combined with hardware support expertise Join us as a Production Technician where your technical skills will drive our success!
