Full Time / Extrusion Technician Compounding Solutions is a leading manufacturer of custom thermoplastic materials, primarily supporting the medical device industry. Our manufacturing site in Lewiston, Maine supplies materials to the largest medical companies located here in the US and in 39 countries worldwide. The materials we produce save and improve the quality of people's lives. For over 25 years, Compounding Solutions has sustained consistent growth by focusing on continuous improvement, investing in R&D and innovative technologies, maintaining a robust quality management system, and offering outstanding customer service. We seek a candidate with production experience to train to be an Extrusion Technician. This candidate will support the rapid growth of our manufacturing capabilities. This is NOT assembly line work, we produce plastic compounds to our customers specifications. Candidates should be motivated team players. Mechanical & Technical knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities to include:
Technical setup & breakdown of the production line, cleaning parts of the Production line, handling multiple materials & operating the production line, maintain records of activities in the form of job reports & Maintain a clean & safe work area. A Successful Candidate Should have the following
Skill Set:
Work Experience in a
Production Environment Mechanical Aptitude Education:
High school Diploma or GED, College Experience is a plus but not necessary Good Attitude, Team Player, Ambitious, Enjoy a fast paced and challenging work environment Computer and Tablet competency
Pay:
48 Hour per week position Overtime is readily available and paid at 1.5X There is a $3/ Hour Bonus for Night Shift along with an Annual $3000 Night Shift Bonus Monthly Production Bonuses paid for meeting goals typically equates to $1-$2/
