POSITION TITLE

Production Technician

BASIC FUNCTION

Provide production support to build and/or repair electrical components, customer assemblies, and fluid power components. Organize and assemble orders and maintain inventory to meet customer schedules. Assist the engineering team with assembly, part machining, order processing, prototyping, or customer service as required.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

: Assemble products to standard or custom order specifications. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with company products. Resolve order discrepancies with customers and DE staff as necessary. Pick and package parts or assemblies to fulfill customer orders. Operate machine-shop equipment for mockups or production (mill, lathe, small tools). Conduct product inspections, tests, or repairs per sales/BOM specification. Assist the Engineering team with work instructions. Assist with warehousing, inventory, shipping, receiving, housekeeping as needed. Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, production, and repair information in databases. Routine operation and maintenance of production equipment. Follow company policy and procedure with respect to systems, practices, and information sharing. Maintain confidential documents & databases regarding customer contacts, costs, pricing, & contracts. Manage and/or complete special projects as assigned. Make recommendations and suggestions that promote continuous improvement.

LOCATION & SCHEDULE

Daily work site will be the company location in Grand Haven. Occasional work at the Grand Rapids site or customer site visits may also be required. Full-time; specific hours and days are flexible and negotiable.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Technical and mechanical aptitude for blueprint reading and complex assembly Ability to multitask and routinely meet deadlines Ability to work independently with organizational skills, time management, and prioritization Industrial assembly experience preferred Thank you for your interest in the Business Development Engineer position.
