Key Qualifications:
Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent) Proven experience operating MRI equipment and related imaging modalities Proficient in following imaging protocols and maintaining image quality standards Knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, and cross-sectional imaging Strong attention to detail and accuracy in patient identification and documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with patients and healthcare teams Current BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout exams Evaluate images for clarity, proper positioning, and diagnostic value Maintain MRI equipment and assist with troubleshooting technical issues Follow all safety guidelines, including those related to MRI magnet safety and infection control Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling as required Collaborate with radiologists and other staff for optimal diagnostic outcomes
