Role Expectations and Responsibilities:
In order to be a successful fit for this position you must: Work proficiently with basic mechanical tools such as hammers, drills, & saws Have experience in a manufacturing or similar environment (general trades, construction, etc.) in the past year Be able to periodically lift/ move up to 60lbs. with assistance, for up to 4 or more hours a day (depends on the day) Work with a high level of accuracy with attention to detail Have intermediate level math skills (fractions, decimals, reading a tape measure, etc.) Be a coachable team player with high personal motivation Have a willingness to learn, develop, and grow
General Responsibilities:
General assembly Customizing or repairing bins and other products by cutting, plastic welding, and fabricating to customer specifications while maintaining high levels of quality control Work with hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, rivet guns, oscillating tools, routers, & drills Work with machinery such as table saws, miter saws, drill presses Load and unload robot and hot plate welder machines Perform basic plastic hand-welding activities Understands and works within safety regulations, laws and policies Housekeeping and organization of work area Understands and follows departmental procedures Ensures compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and procedures Assist with cycle-counting and inventory activities Notifies appropriate party of inventory discrepancies Participate and support continuous improvement goals and activities Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education, Skills, and Experience:
HSD or GED Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
Plastic welding experience: however, welding experience not necessary, on the job training will be provided Forklift license
