Pultrusion Operator- 1st Shift

Day and Evening Shifts Available Advanced Architectural Products is currently seeking hard workers who are mechanically talented and problem solvers to serve as a pultrusion machine operator for our manufacturing plant in Hamilton, MI. We are looking to fill Pultrusion Line Operators, manufacturing experience is preferred, and training will be provided. Qualifications

• Setting-up and operating equipment for pultruded products
• Resin/polymer mixing and batch mixing
• Continuous feeding of fiberglass roving & mat into machine, inspecting product during production and inspecting finished goods before shipment
• Operate manufacturing equipment and use hand tools as required
• Packaging, labeling and documentation of products
• Keeping equipment and work area safe, clean and organized
• Complete necessary documentation including process checks, quality checks and production reporting
• Recognize mechanical issues that involve maintenance
• Able to shut down and clean line properly, remove and clean tooling
• Ability to lift to 70 pounds, perform task requiring repetitive motion and standing
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, read and interpret documents, follow procedures and document information
• Ability to work effectively from drawings, sketches, table and schedules
• Ability to use and read tape measures, gauges, hand and portable power tools
• Work with and round chemicals/solvents and work in hot and cold environments Pultrusion Line Operator - Requirements

• 1st shift hours 5am-5pm 40+ hrs/wk . Training 6-8 weeks.
• $20.50-$33per/hr includes base pay & quarterly attendance/efficiency bonus.
