This manufacturer specializes in high-volume CNC machining, producing precision components used in a variety of industries while providing employees with hands-on training and opportunities for advancement. What You'll Be Doing In this position, you'll: Operate CNC Hydromat machines to produce precision-machined components Load raw materials and unload finished parts Monitor machine performance and make basic operational adjustments Inspect parts using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools Identify defects and ensure products meet quality specifications Record production and quality information accurately Perform basic machine cleaning and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot minor production issues and report larger concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work with your team to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards What We're Looking For Successful candidates typically have: High school diploma or GED Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Manufacturing, warehouse, machine operation, or production experience is helpful but not required Comfortable working in an active industrial environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits May Include Benefits vary by employer but may include: Competitive starting pay with shift differential opportunities Weekly pay Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Holiday Pay 401(k) On-the-job training Career advancement opportunities Stable, full-time employment Why You'll Love This Opportunity Starting pay of $16.00-$18.00/hour Stay close to home with a convenient Kalkaska location Second shift offers additional earning potential through shift premiums Paid training with no CNC experience required Learn valuable CNC machining and manufacturing skills Opportunity to advance into CNC setup, machine operation, or skilled machining roles Stable, long-term career with a respected Northern Michigan manufacturer Real Talk This is an active manufacturing position where you'll spend your day operating CNC equipment, inspecting parts, loading materials, and monitoring production.
