Job Description

2nd Shift Paint Technician -
Paint Line Support Shift:
2nd Shift | 12:00 PM start, ending between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM based on production schedule
Schedule:
Overtime as required We are seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift Paint Technician to support robotic paint application systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and technical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, maintaining production efficiency, and improving manufacturing processes. The Paint Technician will play a key role in ensuring paint line equipment operates safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and meeting daily production goals. What You'll Do Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic paint application equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and routine robot PMs. Diagnose equipment issues using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, paint applicator test stands, Seava air cap testers, and other technical tools. Identify and resolve paint application, equipment, process, and product quality issues. Maintain compliance with
IATF 16949
quality standards and established control plans. Follow work instructions, TPM procedures, and quality alerts. Monitor production performance, document maintenance activities, and accurately report production data. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing and 5S. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to minimize downtime and meet production goals. What We're Looking For Experience in a manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or technical environment preferred. Mechanical and technical aptitude with strong troubleshooting abilities. Ability to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment while following established procedures. Familiarity with diagnostic tools, electrical testing equipment, or robotic systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment. $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
