This is a direct hire position (no staffing agencies involved). Job Description Working under highly experienced personnel, you will perform material handling, machine operation, machine troubleshooting, cleanup and various tasks and projects as needed. We will train and supply uniforms. You will also have the opportunity to advance and learn new mechanical skills. Requirement You must have a strong work ethic, references that will confirm this and speak English. Two years experience in manufacturing or general labor is required. Must be mechanically inclined and able to work in a fast paced environment. Flexibility to work at our main Southfield plant highly preferred. About the company Founded in 1962 in Detroit, DFI is a privately held, debt-free, midsized manufacturer that has not had a layoff in its history. We have five manufacturing locations.

Benefits:
Pay rate is $19.00 to start, however up to $24 for candidates with relevant machine /technical experience Eligible for overtime pay after 40 hours. Medical/dental/vision/prescription insurance available. 401K plan with a company contribution. Life insurance & disability compensation. Paid holidays, vacations & sick days.
